Why Is Physical Fitness So Important For Kids
Why is physical fitness so important for kids?
We all know that regular physical exercise, especially aerobic exercise, is very important but in most cases, it is unclear why it is.
Physical activity has many direct benefits to health such as reduced body weight and cravings, but also many other benefits as increased good cholesterol (HDL) and reducing blood pressure, which is useful for people with hypertension problems.
Physical activity does not help with hypertension but also reduces insulin resistance, resulting in direct aid to diabetics. It also improves glucose tolerance, or low blood sugar, which is another aid for diabetics.
Exercise also improves the heart and circulatory system in many different ways, for example, opening the side of the coronary arteries, preventing heart problems and reducing risk to clogged main coronary trunk.
Physical activity is great for improving mood in depressed people as active releases endorphins and neurotransmitters, while reducing stress levels that may cause future depressive symptoms.
Do not forget that physical activity facilitates sleep and sexual life without drugs made for this purpose that can come to harm our bodies over time.
These are just some of the benefits that you can contemplate the constant exercise for a few months, but best of all, these changes are already beginning to feel, to a lesser extent, after the first month of training.
These benefits should encourage you to adopt a healthy lifestyle, based on a balanced diet and regular physical activity. You should also encourage your children to adopt this lifestyle, because all the benefits of fitness will help them develop properly and they will not have to deal with cancer, heart diseases or other disease later in life.
So why is physical fitness so important for kids? Because it will help them grow strong and develop a beautiful body.
Fitness is not necessarily a must, but you should encourage your children to do any physical activity. You can send them to karate lessons, swimming lessons, baseball, football, volleyball, etc. Any physical activity will improve their condition and strengthen their muscles and bones. With the help of regular physical activity, your children will be able to prevent osteoporosis.
You can be a model for them. Eating healthy and exercising regularly will make them want to do the same. We all know that children want to become like their parents and usually do as they see. So if you set a good example for them, they will learn to do the same. From their earlier years of life teach them the importance of a balanced and healthy diet and the importance of physical activity. They will start embracing this lifestyle with time and adopt it as being natural.
Go out in the park with them and run, play football and volleyball or any other sport that should imply movement and a lot of fun, of course. If you decide to have such weekly activities with all the family, they will feel safe and happy and grow in a healthy family.
